In my mid- to late-20s, in London, beginning to publish, living hand to mouth, having fun. Also now, when love and life and work have finally cohered.
In the sea, somewhere hot. Looking back at people I love on the beach.
There are many moments of happiness for me. I swim in a sea of them. They are related to my family and work.
Now, with time and wisdom you know your happy places.
Fear of falling apart.
