My aeroplane, a Diamond DA42. It’s a twin-engine aircraft and I bought her brand new to fly around the world solo. Very sadly my mum was diagnosed with terminal cancer about six weeks before I was due to take off, in May 2017, and she died early June. After that, I lost interest in doing it.

When I finished the musical Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, I bought a replica of the car. It’s in my front garden, surrounded by a lovely wildflower meadow, and people stop to look at it.
I bought a sports car over 20 years ago and still have it. She’s a black Z8 BMW. I love her: she’s my pride and joy.
