Peter Thiel, Zero to One, chapter 1, where it is introduced as his job-interview question. Thiel supplies his own standard: a good answer takes the form "most people believe x, but the truth is the opposite of x."

I don’t like live music. (I know that is a very despicable opinion.) I love great recordings.
Primarily to show, and you will think that this doesn't need showing, but lots of people would disagree with you. To show that biology is an autonomous science and should not be mixed up with physics. That's my message.

You have to die of something. Let’s say we would be able to cure cancer, or Alzheimer, or cardiovascular diseases. And then what? Should we be young forever or healthy forever?
Diversifying means going abroad…Be in another culture, speak a different language, see how other people think. Leave and then come back.
The world ‘ageing’ itself is an issue: we do not know what it means.
