Mischa Barton, 21, spent her early life in London before her family moved to New York. At eight, she starred in Tony Kushner's off-Broadway play Slavs!, then went on to appear in films, including Lawn Dogs, The Sixth Sense and Notting Hill. At 15 she was cast as Marissa Cooper in the US TV teen drama The OC. Since leaving the show last year, she has made several films that are due for release this year, among them Closing The Ring, directed by Richard Attenborough. She is an ambassador for Visa Swap (visaswap.com), which encourages sustainable fashion through swapping.
