Ralph Nader is an American lawyer and activist whose 1965 book Unsafe at Any Speed forced automobile safety onto the United States political agenda and led to the creation of federal vehicle safety regulation. He has founded numerous consumer and public interest organisations and run for president several times.

Too many people who go to the best schools, and get great grades, are confronted with a choice of trivial work that is very high paid, and has some sort of surface status, like senior partner in a law firm, or corporate executive, but most of the work can be done by anybody.
