I worked in a call centre. I would go clubbing on a Saturday with my brother and my mates, get home for five or six in the morning, and then have to be at work at 8am.
On a cosmetics production line. I walked out after half a day.
I worked in the customer services department of a mobile phone gambling company and it was very depressing, because the people calling up were usually not happy.

I would have articulated aloud the comments I too often suppressed out of deference to arrogant, condescending, sexist bores.
