Being mum to my awesome children, Woody and Nelly. They make my day, every day. I do joke with them that I’m happy to pay for the therapy they’ll inevitably need in later years due to my terrible parenting.
Still being here, aged 60. If I thought I was going to live this long, I would have taken better care of myself.

Getting to challenge the status quo by being myself, just existing openly and honestly and boldly on a public level. It hasn’t always been easy, and it came with its fair set of challenges and sacrifices, and I am proud of that.
I cry all the time. I like crying: it means that you’re more truly aware of a circumstance or a person or an event.
The years between 13 and 17, which I think are very formative, and the rather arid public school upbringing I had at Harrow.
If you have a nice drink before going to bed, you don’t stay awake at night. I like almost anything in a bottle.
To be able to play the piano like Artur Schnabel.
Probably a suit. If you buy a good suit, it lasts beyond your lifetime.
Aside from family life, which is the ultimate happiness, when I see or hear a great artist.
