My soon-to-be ex-wife, Amanda. I wish I’d been able to do whatever would have been necessary all the way back to keep us as a unit. Probably the worst thing I did was not tell her how miserable I was, certain that I could turn this around somehow.
My maternal grandmother, who lived with us for many years. I was a moody teenager and sometimes impatient and rude. Yet she was the person I feel I’m most like. I really miss her.
To anyone I’ve unintentionally hurt or upset.
To my father, for the time that was lost when we weren’t getting along. We were able to reconcile a few months before he passed away five years ago.
I can dodge the bullets – I’m lucky.

Right now is a pretty good time in my life. I am existing on three-monthly check-ups, but, yeah, I am very grateful.
