Being too open and generous to those who don’t deserve it.

I wouldn’t change anything about myself. If you asked me 20 years ago, I probably would have had a long list. But I’ve learned to appreciate and love who I am.

I’m not going to change anything about myself. I am happy and blessed with what God gave me, and I really have nothing to complain about.

I'm trying to be more organized.

I also developed an unhelpful aversion to asking for favors. Frankly, if I had sought help from others, I would have made far fewer mistakes.

I don’t like those people that only want to be nice to people that they consider their equal or above them as far as maybe they’ve got money or something like that.

I have always been impatient.

Oh, all the time. We have a fear all the time. But that’s what keeps us going, that’s what keeps us focused. You have to have a fear. People who say, “I have no fear. I’m not afraid of ever failing,” are kidding themselves. Sometimes it’s the fear of failure, of not wanting to fail, that makes people as great as they are. I know that’s what pushes me, a lot.

Oh, I have a lot of pleasures. I love the being outdoors. I love fly-fishing, particularly for salmon. I love to ski.

George and I have been there for each other since we were two years old and for most of life's most poignant moments.
