Cee Lo Green, 36, was born Thomas Calloway in Atlanta, Georgia. After he was kicked out of school, his mother sent him to military academy. Later, he changed his name and became a member of the Goodie Mob, a hip-hop collective, before forming Gnarls Barkley with the DJ Danger Mouse. In 2006, the duo had a worldwide hit with their song, Crazy. Last year, he released his third solo album, The Lady Killer; this year he won both a Brit and a Grammy. His new single, I Want You (Hold On To Love) is released next month.
