Fern Britton, 51, was born in London. She began her broadcasting career as a presenter with BBC Spotlight South West. In 1999, she joined ITV's This Morning and, after 10 years on the show, has announced she will leave in July. She has four children and lives in Buckinghamshire with her second husband, the chef Phil Vickery.
