Born in London, Matt Goss, 52, found fame with his twin brother Luke in 80s boyband Bros, whose hits included When Will I Be Famous? Having split in 1992, the brothers reunited in 2017 and starred in the Bafta-winning documentary Bros: After the Screaming Stops. The Beautiful Unknown, a solo album by Goss, is released on 25 March. He is single and divides his time between Los Angeles and Las Vegas.

At 37 Crawford Road in Camberwell, London. My mother had separated from my father and we had nothing, but I remember roast potatoes, twopence in the gas meter and music. It was the only time in my life when I felt at home.
