Phil Daniels, 55, was born in London and attended the Anna Scher theatre school as a teenager. In the late 70s, he was the lead in Quadrophenia and appeared with Ray Winstone in Alan Clarke's film Scum. In 1994, he was the voice on Blur's single Parklife. His recent stage credits include This House at the National Theatre; he is currently appearing in Antony And Cleopatra at Shakespeare's Globe Theatre, London, until 24 August. He has a 24-year-old daughter, Ella.
