My kids wrote a song for me, recorded it on to a CD and it was played before my last Australian Open. I had no idea until I heard it live on TV.

I welled up a little when I was voted off Strictly.
On New Year’s day I was so hungover my hair actually hurt. I lay on the sofa with my daughter and we watched The Muppets for two hours and I cried with laughter.

View profile →When I was 19 I worked at a gay bar while I was at drama school in London. One of the guys I worked with was Glaswegian and I learned the dialect from him. The acting teacher at the school said, “Liev, you’ve got the region but you’ve missed the character entirely” because I played Jimmy Boyle in a very camp Glaswegian accent.
I thought I’d be smarter by now.

My father – I think he doubted our closeness.
