To my grandma Faye, because I didn’t realise, when I was growing up, what an icon she was. She fought at Cable Street, and worked her arse off to get the family out of the tenements. She had a lot of wisdom to impart.
To my teachers, for not paying attention.
My wife, just in case I’ve done something wrong.
Everybody, now and before, who was fleeing for their lives and wasn’t allowed into our country.
That we waited so long to have children, we only have two.
