Two days ago, at a family wedding, remembering Richard, my cousin. He was 11 months younger than me and we were brought up like brother and sister for the first four years of our lives. He died of a brain tumour when he was 55.
When I heard the referendum result.

I cried this morning watching RuPaul’s Drag Race. I love seeing queens overcome challenges.
First, I wanted to be a historian, then a drummer, and after that I just wanted to be employed. And I still do.
Instead of saying, “I tripped up”, you have to use the words, “I had a fall.”
A sense of wonder.
Being married for 17 years and having two amazing children.
Chaotic, daft and loving.
