Sometimes it just seems like the more women tell the truth, the less men want to hear it.

I think they have no duty. But we do have the opportunity, not to change the world, but to make people think differently.

Everything man does creates more harm than good. We have to accept that fact and not delude ourselves into thinking something is sustainable.

Why ardor? Because, I think, there’s not enough of it in our time. Or, at least in our literature. There’s too much lukewarm irony, too much sophisticated indulgence. The tragic dimension disappears in this intellectual environment. That’s why ardor is to be defended.

I am not one of the new media experts working all the time with my computers and the PowerPoint’s and things of that sort. So, I’m an old fashioned still in this regard but these are the moment where I really can be creative, if I am, to be left alone with just a book and piece of paper and to be thinking.

It was also evident to me that if you really want to achieve and do well in American society, you have to work, and work hard…You have to work, you have to work.

I like simplicity. To me, this is very, very important, whether I am dealing with science or dealing with people.

It is known about me that I’m serious and that when you write a paper I like, I will sometimes have you go up to ten or twelve versions of the paper.

According to Egyptian regulations, the chairman of the department, the dean of the faculty of sciences, the president of Alexandria University, and the minister of higher education, they all have to sign off.

I’m hungry for knowledge…Knowledge, knowledge and I loved it.
