View all 209 →I was not great with my mother-in-law, who was a very gentle woman. I thought she would be an uninvited part of my life for ever, but she died early and I wished I had been more open and patient.
To my mum, for never being able to live up to what she would have liked me to be. She always wanted me to be a little princess and I was never going to be that.
To my teachers in high school - that I didn't punch them in the mouth for discouraging all my interests.
