When I was little, this boy would bully my friend and me all the time. One day, on our way home, we held him, put him to the ground and pushed his face full on into this big dog poo, and I’d like to say sorry.
To my daughter, because she felt that I spent too much time saving other children. I would go to war zones and travel the world for human rights work, and she was missing me.
My kids, for the jokes. Some of them are pretty bad.
Some of my old teachers for disrupting lessons. I was the class clown.
Surviving the music industry. I think it’s been responsible for killing a lot of musicians. Lots of us have mental health issues, and drink and drug problems, and the industry doesn’t really care.
That all the cliches about people in the music industry are true.
My mum, because she’s been a nurse for over 40 years. She works in a hospice, and there’s no bullshit with her.
