When my kids ask, “What happens when we die?” I say, “Do you remember the place you were in before you were born? I think we go back there.”

I have never been able to become an atheist and, even though I know it is completely irrational and cannot be backed up, I think when I die I’m going to glory.

Dying when my children are still young. I know how much it hurt me. I was 30 when my mum died and 39 when my dad died, and even then, that was too young.
I am a massive people-pleaser and it brings me nothing but trouble.
Now. Five years ago, I started looking after myself a bit more, emotionally and spiritually, and it’s paid dividends.
