Eddie Marsan, 46, was born in east London. After 10 years acting on TV, he was cast in Martin Scorsese's film Gangs Of New York. He won awards for Vera Drake and Happy-Go-Lucky, and his other credits include War Horse and Mission: Impossible III. He stars in God's Pocket, in cinemas from 8 August, and in Ray Donovan on Sky Atlantic HD. He is married to makeup artist Janine Schneider, has four children and lives in London.
