Marianne Faithfull, 64, was born in London. She recorded her debut single, As Tears Go By, in 1964, the first song written by Mick Jagger and Keith Richards; she also starred on stage in Chekhov's Three Sisters and in the 1968 film The Girl On A Motorcycle. In 1979, she made a comeback with the album Broken English. Her 23rd album, Horses And High Heels, is out now and she is currently on a world tour, playing three dates in the UK next month.

I’d like to see all my friends. I would have my breakfast and then I would go to Ireland and see my friends – Frank McGuinness, Penny and Desmond Guinness…all those people. I would have lunch in the castle with Penny and Desmond and maybe some other people, then in the afternoon I would go to New York and do the same thing.
