Paul Hollywood, 47, was raised on the Wirral. He trained as a sculptor before his father persuaded him to join the family business, a chain of bakeries called Bread Winner. He went on to become head baker at the Dorchester before working abroad. On his return to the UK he launched the Paul Hollywood Artisan Bread Company. His TV career began in 2002, and since 2010 he has been a judge on The Great British Bake Off with Mary Berry. His first UK live tour, Get Your Bake On!, begins on April 28 and runs until December.
