View all 582 →I was very happy to be alive when I surfaced after my yacht, Drum, capsized in the Fastnet Race in 1985. I was in an air pocket for 40 minutes, and had to take off my long johns to be able to surface.
Five to 10, when I was just playing out and I didn’t realise I was a girl. Before my boobs came in, basically.
Now, because of my marriage and because since September 2019 I’ve been free of clinical depression.
