When I was 14 I went up for Juliet with Zeffirelli and I was hugely disappointed that I didn’t get that.
The fans’ reaction at the end of Game Of Thrones because I think it was brilliant.
Not really on a major basis. We lost the court case when the Raiders moved, so now you have more or less free agency on the part of franchises. They move from city to city. I thought that was a loss. But I tend to discount extreme praise or extreme criticism. You just have to do what you think is right.
My ears – disappointments that grow bigger each year.
I don’t think I would change anything because it might not have got me here.
Handing out leaflets for a dry cleaner’s, because no one wanted them and, if people did take them, they just threw them on the floor.
I always relate love to happiness.
Getting a house. I didn’t think that was a possibility for me. I’ve been able to do amazing things – Netflix, tours, winning a Bafta – but having something you own is hard, so that’s really up there.
Material. I wake up in the middle of the night and write jokes.
Some of my old teachers for disrupting lessons. I was the class clown.
