Being surrounded by friends and family.
A family dinner. Candlelight. Lots of laughs.
A glass of red wine with ice.
In my bed, a hot-water bottle on my tummy, the windows are open, reading a book that I’m already into, chocolate at hand, all with the knowledge that everyone I love and know is happy.
I have a lot to be grateful for, but right now, being married. Having time to be with my husband and his children. I feel very grateful.
People’s need to feel superior to others. All it does is cause judgment and hate.
I most admire Steve Sondheim, who is not alive anymore. But his words and music keep him alive.
