When I was young, selling maps to stars’ homes in Hollywood, somebody flashed their wiener at me. It was traumatising.
The only job I quit was, aged about 23, subediting a “men’s” magazine. My job was typing out readers’ pornographic fantasies. I started wishing people would reproduce by splitting down the middle.
Doing an episode of Doctors was a bit of a nadir.
I’ve enjoyed every single job, including working at my dad’s chicken shop selling potato gems (fried potato circles) to the surfer dudes.
Recently, sending a negative text about a person to that person.
At my mother’s funeral last year.
Procrastination.
My younger self, because I was very, very tough on myself.
Ironically, it’s talking to hundreds of people in a room.
As a decent human being.
